_Marta renova com o Tyresö

A brasileira assinou novo contrato e vai ajudar a equipa sueca na sua estreia nas competições europeias na época 2013/14.

The Brazil forward moved to the Swedish side last year and helped them clinch their first National League title in 2012, earning a place in the 2013/14 UEFA Women's Champions League. Today Marta, who turns 27 next Tuesday, extended her contract until the end of May 2014 ,with the club having acquired new sponsorship – a boost after fellow attacker Madeleine Edlund announced a break from football to have a baby.

Five-time FIFA Women's World Player of the Year Marta, who spent four years at Umeå, playing in three European club finals before beginning a spell in the United States in 2009, said: "I am happy to be here again. I like this country so much." She will be joined up front by Christen Press, a winter recruit from Göteborg FC and scorer of two goals on her United States debut in a 4-1 win against Scotland on Saturday.

Tyresö start the defence of their domestic crown in April and will make their European debut next term as one of two Swedish representatives alongside FC Malmö. That team are currently preparing to face Olympique Lyonnais in the 2012/13 quarter-finals, where Göteborg also take on FCF Juvisy Essonne.

_Bilhetes para EURO Feminino 2013 à venda

Os bilhetes para o UEFA Women's EURO 2013 são postos à venda esta quinta-feira, a partir das 11h00 (de Portugal Continental), com os adeptos da anfitriã Suécia e de todo o mundo a serem convidados a garantir desde já o seu lugar na fase final da prova, que vai decorrer entre 10 e 28 de Julho.

 Portal dos bilhetes

Os adeptos podem adquirir os seus ingressos através do portal de bilhetes do UEFA Women's EURO 2013 até ao dia do pontapé de saída do encontro desejado, desde que a lotação para este não se encontre ainda esgotada. Os bilhetes podem igualmente ser adquiridos nas agências Ticnet e nas bilheteiras dos sete estádios que vão receber os jogos na Suécia, em Gotemburgo, Halmstad, Vaxjo, Kalmar, Norrkoping, Linkoping e Solna.

Karen Espelund, membro do Comité Executivo da UEFA e presidente do Comité de Futebol Feminino da UEFA, afirmou: "O lançamento da fase de venda de bilhetes é um momento determinante na preparação para o arranque do UEFA Women's EURO 2013. Esta prova é a jóia da coroa do futebol europeu feminino. Estou ansiosa por assistir a uma grande resposta por parte dos adeptos e por assistir a uma grande festa familiar do futebol naquela que será a maior competição de selecções organizada pela UEFA este Verão."

Por seu lado, o presidente da Federação Sueca de Futebol (SvFF), Karl-Erik Nilsson, referiu: "Vai ser um enorme prazer para nós recebermos os muitos amantes do futebol da Suécia e do estrangeiro, que contribuirão certamente para uma grande celebração do futebol feminino em Julho, no nosso país. É um torneio acessível para todos, como o comprova o reduzido preço dos bilhetes."

Cada adepto terá a possibilidade de adquirir um máximo de seis bilhetes por jogo, sendo o UEFA Women's EURO 2013 composto por 25 jogos, a disputar por 12 selecções: Suécia, Itália, Dinamarca, Finlândia (Grupo A); Alemanha, Noruega, Holanda, Islândia (Grupo B), França, Inglaterra, Rússia e Espanha (Grupo C).

_Nova Liga Profissional Americana de Futebol em 2013

O Western New York Flash foi o vencedor da última edição da WPS

Uma nova liga profissional nos EUA irá começar em Março do próximo ano, disse o presidente da Federação Norte-Americana, Sunil Gulati, esta quarta-feira.

Desta vez a federação canadiana e mexicana, juntamente com a dos EUA irá financiar os custos das suas jogadoras que irão participar no campeonato.

"Estamos à procura de um modelo económico que seja sustentável" disse Gulati. "Se olharmos para as federações como o governo, estamos a financiar o sector privado para tentar tornar isto sustentável e diminuir os investimentos do sector privado".

A federação americana ira também financiar os custos administrativos da

liga.

As 8 equipas estão sedeadas em Boston, New Jersey, Western New York, Washington D.C, Chicago, Kansas City, Seattle e Portland.
